This compelling documentary describes the birth, development, and ultimate destruction of the Cape Verdian community of Foxpoint in Providence, Rhode Island. One of the most poignant aspects of the film is the role that well-intentioned planners, architects, and politicians played in destroying this important community by embracing policies contained in the Federal urban renewal, highways, and public housing programs.
