Serge Bromberg is the founder and President of Lobster films, a company that finds and restores old films. Lobster Films is the most important private collection of films in the world with 20,000 titles, a gold mine of old images in black & white and color, ranging from the birth of cinema to the beginning of the 1960s, covering all genres and a variety of topics. Serge presents an annual program of his latest discoveries in Paris and New York, a highly anticipated event of rare archival films, short oddities, and more with live commentary and piano accompaniment. This year, Serge travels to Ithaca after his show at the BAM Cinemas in Brooklyn, and we couldn't be more thrilled. In addition to being a film preservationist and entertainer, Serge is also the Artistic Director of the Annecy Animation Festival and is on the Board of Directors of the Cinematheque Francaise.
